Bipin Shivaji Dhane - On returning to India, through a friend's suggestion he took up a voluntary teaching position in a small school in Majuli, the river island in Assam. During this tenure, he travelled across the vast riverine island learning of issues that affected education and livelihood of the mainly Mising tribal community. Understanding the larger needs of the community, Bipin along with his core team set up an NGO, Ayang, which means 'love' in the Mising dialect.

Dr Dayaprasad G Kulkarni – a medical doctor, public health specialist, entrepreneur, artist and development consultant; founded Doctors For Seva Arogya Foundation – a flexible micro volunteering platform for doctors to provide free healthcare services to over 100000 underserved beneficiaries in 7 countries.He has also set up the Global Health Volunteer Alliance, a not for profit company in the US, having a network of over 25,000 medical professionals.

Krishna Kanta Pegu - Has been with the team right from the first day of the organisation. He was very instrumental in bring the community together while building the school. Being one of the respected senior members of the Mising community, him being a part of Ayang also helps us while interacting with the authorities.
